This place has a lot of authentic Italian food and cooking needs. They have everything from gelato to wine. You can grab food to make, to eat for takeout or even dine in. They have a lot of great items you might not be able to find at a normal grocery store. Just a little more expensive so be advised.

We just ate two of the most scrumptious subs ever! I ordered the Caprese and my husband got l’Italiano. Firstly, we’re long time customers of The Foodery, the previous owners. This is only the second time we’ve indulged our tastebuds in these decadent sandwiches since The Foodery became Krisp. The first order was meh. Our order had been set on a warm surface and both subs were warm when I picked them up. These were DIVINE!!! The darling man in the deli had just made them and handed them over with a big smile. Anyway, kudos to you, my new favorite sandwich maker! I highly recommend this establishment, now called KRISP!!!

Great selection of Californian wine from low to high end and prices are competitive to other online stores!

When visiting San Diego I stopped in here while on the way for a late morning coffee and ended up having a vegan pasta dish that was delicious. It was not on the menu but they were happy to make it. With fresh bread and a nice red it was a perfect post run lunch. Friendly and professional staff. Will definitely be back and highly recommend this store/cafe

Stopped by to get the Garlic Knots and Pandemic Wings from Pandemic Pizza inside Rovino. The ordering of food is so efficient, and I got my to-go order to take home. The wings are decadent and have plenty of Parmesan. They were great dipping into the pizza sauce. The wings were an absolutely hit in our house. They have a delicious brown sugar and cayenne seasoning, and are fried until they are golden brown. There are 12 in the order, but clearly I will have to get two orders next time.

Just opened in East Village SD! Italian venue with: cafe (serving pizzas, pasta, salads, beer/wine) deli (sandwiches, antipasti, prepared foods, espresso bar, gelato, bakery (pastries, cookies, rolls) and a selection of groceries (oils, dried pasta, cheese, salami, beers and wine). You can take out or dine in (tables service for indoors and then a few sidewalk seats). Prices for cafe are pretty reasonable - between $8-15 per item - especially compared to the previous occupant, Market Hall. Deli sandwiches in the $8-10 range. Rest of merchandise was mid-priced but seemed high quality. The gelato bar was extra popular.

So sad The Foodery has closed, this was my go to sandwich place downtown. Unfortunately this is now a Krisp grocery store which still has great sandwiches, but they did switch the menu from the original Foodery.

I found myself in the neighborhood and thought I'd give it a try. It was my first time. I ended up ordering the L'italiano sandwich, and it was delicious--really tasty. The service was fast, and the atmosphere had great vibes overall.
